Once upon a time, I had big dreams of getting into roller derby. I remember watching my mom roller skate when I was little and thinking she looked hella cool, so naturally, I bought myself a pair off Facebook Marketplace. I used them a handful of times before realizing I was not exactly a natural. That was years ago though, so maybe it's time to dust off those skates and give it another shot!

And speaking of getting back on my feet (hopefully staying on them, too), enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Learn To Groove Skate Party KICK OFF w DJ Grooveheart at Rolla Skate Club on 10/24! Come get your groove on with some funky beats, fun dance moves, and a whole lot of good vibes! Whether you're a pro on wheels or a little wobbly like me, it's all about having fun.*
