I love a band that refuses to fit neatly into a box. Despite the name, Eagles of Death Metal aren't actually a death metal band; they're all swagger, fuzzed-out riffs, and the kind of rock 'n' roll that's impossible not to have fun with (& I’m hoping to photograph that show, wish me luck!)

We've got a pair of tickets to see Eagles of Death Metal at the Vogue Theatre on 8/28, and they could be yours. Throw your name in the hat and you just might be spending the night rocking out instead of scrolling!*

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • You get two chances to catch Lord Huron at the Orpheum on 1/5 and 1/6. If The Night We Met ever had you in your feelings, this one's calling your name!

  • Keep summer alive at the Whistler Village Beer Festival from 9/16-9/20, where craft beer, good food, and mountain views are all on the menu.

  • If you like your folk music thoughtful and packed with stories, Jeffrey Martin is worth your time. See him with Sam Weber at Wise Hall on 11/3.

  • You like jazz? Frankie's Jazz Club just dropped a fresh batch of shows, so grab a cocktail, settle in, and let someone else soundtrack your night.

  • Still dodging The Odyssey spoilers? Catch the movie everyone's been talking about in glorious 70mm at The Park Theatre playing through 8/14!
