This year's Pride feels especially important to me because I came out publicly... yesterday! In some ways it's not a big deal at all because I've been openly bisexual with my close circle for years. But in other ways, it's huge!

Needless to say, I'll be celebrating Pride extra hard this year. And if your group chat is anything like mine, you've been drowning in options. Let's fix that together shall we?

• Queerdohpalooza takes over the Wise Hall on 7/31 uniting queers and allies, and revelling in love for the weirdos. See incredible local acts like Hyaenas, Batty Banks, Devours, Rhona Hunte and more!

• Homo Depot brings the DIY queer party work energy to Platform 9 on 7/31 for late-night jams. House, garage, techno, disco and a safe space to be you.

• If anyone tries to argue that wrestling isn’t queer… I’m sorry you are wrong. LuchaLibre Spectacular: Loco Ocho takes over the Waldorf on 8/1 & 8/2 with spandex, high-flying acrobatics and Mexican food. Win a pair of tickets!*

• As Hannah Gadsby says “where are the quiet gays supposed to go?” Glad you asked. A comedy show, obviously. Check out A Court of Crits & Bits II on Thursday or That’s Gay on Friday. Just maybe avoid the front row.
