I’m what you’d call an extroverted introvert. I love a party... until my social battery dies and I need to promptly disappear. That’s why I’m excited we laid out some tips for introverts to our World Cup Guide (extroverts, you’re already in your element).
Because while some people thrive in the energy of big events, others need a little more personal space - and the World Cup has room for both. If you’ve been avoiding the crowds because it all feels a bit overwhelming, this is your chance to get the lay of the land and experience this once-in-a-lifetime event on your own terms.
More adventures for introverts? I’m glad you asked. Escape the commotion of the city by getting a new perspective on the water. False Creek looks calmer on a kayak. Enter to win the cutest date plans: a 2 hour kayak rental via Dragon Boat BC!*

We’ve been digging for years to make this list (literally), so if we missed your favourite reply to this email and we’ll add it!

THE LOCAL LIST
This week, Tami Wong is shining a light on something not talked about nearly enough: hair loss in women. As the founder of Hair Loss Pride, she’s helping women navigate the emotional and practical sides of the journey while building a supportive community along the way. We love seeing people turn personal experiences into something that helps others. Go Tami!
